Tim Walker won 1st in the men’s 60+ recurve class at the State FITA 1440 Tournament with a score of 1201. Tim was the high men’s recurve scorer even surpassing classes younger than him. 4 distances are shot, 70 and 60 meters for the masters on Saturday and 50 and 30 meters on Sunday. 144 arrows were shot over the 2 days. About 45 people attended the event. Weather was perfect with cool morning temps and little wind over the 2 days. This is always a challenging event. The Easton Newberry Center did an excellent job running the event!
